Modern House Interior Design
More than practically any other outward manifestation, house interior design styles can be seen to reflect the world in which they were created. Examined carefully, they will reveal much about the economic state of the people, their aspirations, major scientific developments and even the movement of populations. It is perhaps this fact, together with the amazing standard of craftsmanship and artistry that was displayed so many years ago in early home interior designs, that explains our fascination with traditional house interior design styles.
Researching a particular house interior design style can be a stimulating process in itself. It can involve visits to museums, libraries, historical homes and even trips abroad. A book, play or film might prompt interest in a specific era and involvement with a local historical society could provide valuable background information on the interior design styles you eventually settle on.
The words 'authentic' and 'pure' are often bandied about fairly indiscriminately when describing historical styles. But just as perfectly matched colors can result in a rather boring scheme, so, by being fanatical about a particular period or style, you may be in danger of creating an house interior design style that is totally predictable and rather lacking in character. Feel free, then, to be creative and, every now and then, to interject an element of surprise or an item from outside the period perimeters. Colors, too, can be liberally interpreted as they were in the past when paints would have been mixed by individual decorators.

Interior Design
Any home can be pleasing with the proper application of basic interior design methods. Some people study interior design to be very good at it but there are people who are gifted with an eye for beauty and for interior designing.
A person who is creative can do some interior designing on his own even without formal training. Those who have an eye for what is aesthetic can just as easily decorate and design his own house depending on his tastes. Of course, it helps to read books and articles about designing to be updated on the basic and latest design methods.
Any interior designer can create a specific atmosphere just by putting together several pieces and unifying them in a single theme. There are interior designers who have a bias for certain motifs like eclectic, modern or even country style. Some go for simple designs without the clutter.
Interior design is not only aesthetic but also functional depending on the requirements of the client. An interior designer can make a small room spacious and an otherwise cluttered room into an orderly one. Interior design is used just about anywhere from homes, offices to commercial buildings.

house design bona
Does the house have the general appearance of being in good shape? Is the house design robust? Do the doors swing freely, and do they fit the openings? A poor fit of the doors often indicates the foundation is settling. Do the windows operate freely? If not, look out. Of course, sometimes paint may stick the windows and they can be pried loose and made to operate freely.
Are the floors level and in good condition? If the floor is high in the center of the room, it is not because the floor has risen, but because the walls are settling. Do not buy a house if the floors are not level. This situation is very difficult to correct and usually indicates a serious defect in the structure. It may be that the house design is not suited to the location on which it is built.
Look for evidence that water may have been a problem. Are there spots on the ceiling or walls that show that water has been leaking around the roof area? What about under and around the windows? Look around the bottoms of the walls near the baseboards for water marks. What about areas near the shower bath, or around the laundry trays?
If the floor in the house design is of frame construction, is the area under the house well ventilated? Crawl under the house and examine the framing under the floor. Take your pocket knife and test the joists and sills to see if they have started to decay. Get up into the attic and look over the situation; it is surprising what you may discover.
The two most important parts of a house are the foundation and the roof. If these two are in good condition, it is a pretty good sign that the house is structurally sound, no matter what the house design. But structural soundness is not the only, or even the most important criterion to use in judging a house or house design, but that is all we have time for here.

Interior House Design
Check the zoning laws where you are building your house. There may be a limit in the height of the house or on what percentage of space your house can take up on the lot. Be open to suggestions. You can go with a pre-drawn plan or a custom plan that is drawn to your specifications. Another important item is how water drains off of your property. You would want to build the house on the rise of a hill rather than at its base. At the base the run off could do damage to the house.
